James Gutheim was born in Frankfurt, Germany in 1939. Forced to flee during the war, his parents brought him to  Los Angeles at the age of one and he has lived there ever since. James' journey into the art world came later in life, blossoming exponentially during recent years. Now in his 80s, his creative passion and spirit is beautifully expressed through his use of bold colors in abstracts and landscapes.
